2008 NJCCR Annual Retreat : Newark CCC Participation

-Out of a total of 104 abstracts presented at the 2008 meeting, 33 (one third) were presented by Newark Cancer Center Community (CCC) Members

-A total of 16 hospitals participated and 25 institutions/schools/centers presented research abstracts, including: RWJMS, CINJ, NJMS, Princeton, Lewis Sigler Institute for Integrative Genomic Medicine, Rutgers, MIT, Harvard Medical School, Rider University, NYU College of Nursing, Fox Chase, Oregon Health Sciences University, Memorial Sloan Kettering, University of Michigan, Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center,Ohio State University, Johns Hopkins, Susan Lehman Cullman Laboratory for Cancer Research, and Princeton.

-3 Gallo Awards were awarded to CCC members
